Export Packing and Shipping

Once a customer knows that an item is destined for export they can instruct Yewcoat to pack it for international delivery by road, air or sea freight and ensure that all Customs requirements are dealt with. This work can be undertaken even if items will be in storage for a period of time prior to shipping.

On arrival at the overseas port Yewcoat will see the items unloaded, cleared throught Customs and any other import formalities and hand them over to their appointed local agent, or deliver to their final destination using the local Yewcoat team; local services on delivery are just as in the UK with any combination of delivery, unpacking and clearance of packing materials or a full installation service.

Insurance

All property should be insured during moving shipping storage and installation. Yewcoat has professional insurance brokerage and purchasing expertise on hand and can arrange cost-effective comprehensive cover at short notice if required, usually at lower cost than achieved by customers buying direct.
